Abstract

Aerobic degradation of maize silage in the summer warm season starts in practice be more and bigger problem. The aim of our work was to compare two methods of application of silage chemical preparation based on sodium nitrite, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate so as to restrict the aerobic degradation of the upper layer of silages after contact with oxygen after opening the silo.
