Computer programs became part of the dairy cattle farms, where they help in the collection of data and processing of information about dairy cows. The article deals with the use of these programs in the Czech Republic, where one of the most frequently used programs are Afifarm, Delpro, Dairy Plan, Farmsoft. It refers to the use of automatic data collection, a disease of dairy cows, where the substances in milk can detect diseases such as clinical mastitis, acidosis, ketosis etc. Attention is drawn to the collection of data from pedometers and the importance transmit data to official performance monitoring.
