One of the main tasks of each manager not only on agricultural operation be a regular analysis of his production and economic indicators, comparing with the best operations in the sector and adopting measures aimed at greater production efficiency. To assist in managerial decision making and in the search for reserves in his company, the new software called Ekomodel. Ekomodel is a new on-line economic tool provided to users free of charge and used to calculate economic indicators in cattle breeding and pig breeding. The goal of each part is based on user entered data to calculate total revenue, costs and profit per unit. The software also calculates the overall profitability of production and defines break even points, that is, a level of parameters where the profit is equal to zero. By changing the input parameter level, it is possible to estimate how individual changes will be reflected in the overall economic success of the business. The user can save the results of the calculation in a PDF file.
