Abstract | The technical solution to an illuminating medium for the study of the inner morphology of nematodes, which comprises not less than 10% and not more than 50% glycerol mixed with at least 75% ethanol in a ratio of not less than one volume part glycerol and not more than five volumes of ethanol. The medium is further characterized by the fact that the optimum ratio for most samples is one volume by volume of 30% glycerol and five volumes of 75% ethanol, and the medium is characterized by sufficiently illuminating the surface structures of the nematodes and at the same time being friendly to human health. |
