In 2014 was German manufacturers delivered for processing 21.2 % (in the Czech Republic 1.6 %) of the volume of milk delivered for processing in the EU-28 (149.9 miles tons). Between 2012 and 2015 in Germany and in the Czech Republic increased numbers of dairy cows by 2.3 and 0.8 % and milk production by 12.7 and 9.4 %. In the years 2012-2015 were all 48 monthly milk prices higher in Germany than in the Czech Republic. In four years under comparison, the average difference in the price of CZK 0.90 per kg of milk during fluctuations from CZK 0.49 in 2015 to 1.44 CZK in 2013. When selling 7,500 kilograms of milk per cow have a lower „Czech“ prices per kg compared to Germany resulted in lower annual revenues by an average of approximately 6,750 CZK. Farmers‘ Union in Germany suggested policymakers program comprised primarily of short-term measures. Responsibility for the domestic agricultural sector but have also „market partners“, respectively dairy and shop. The situation in the milk sector in the Czech Republic is just as critical as in Germany and most EU states, due to the low purchase price of milk economic losses are probably higher, and in many cases for milk producer’s liquidation.
