Abstract

The precision farming is well known in the plant production, where the agriculture is associated with the use of new technologies. The aim is to gain maximum knowledge and information about land and whichever best use of the land. The situation is similar in the breeding of dairy cattle. Article discusses the useful precision farming technology which can be used in breeding dairy cows (eg. sensors for measuring of milk components, SCC, or rumination movements). The article also discussed the practical advantages and disadvantages of using these modern technologies.
