The aim of this methodology is to design the structure, compile and maintain a database of dairy cattle health disorders in the framework of performance testing in the Czech Republic. This database is intended to record and store disease data of all age categories of cattle to evaluate the occurrence of disease in farms and cattle breeds in the Czech Republic, to provide data for breeding, i.e. estimates of breeding values for the dairy cattle disease traits or to provide information for estimation breeding values for other traits that are related to the health disorders phenotypically or genetically.
