The housing technology is concerned to farrowing pen which must fulfil the conditions of welfare standards. The farrowing pen consists of stationary barrier and mobile barrier. The stationary barrier divides the pen to space for piglets and common space for sow and piglets. The space for piglets contains drinker, feeder and bedding place. The farrowing pen makes the work of swineherds easier and safer and movement of animals comfortable. Sow and piglets have their separate parts and piglets can move in the whole pen. This fact raises animal welfare.
