Abstract

Effect oťdose of additive to reduce aerobic degradation of maize silage During aerobic spoilage take place in corn silages biochemical processes that accompanies an increase in temperature of silage, especially in parts of the surface where the greatest exposure to oxygen. The aim was to propose a level and method application of chemical additive Safesil [sodium nitrite, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate} ensiling corn for silage chaff to restrict subsequent aerobic degradation of silage. To measure the aerobic stability was used by the device, based on continuous temperature measurement silage. Has been successfully verified the application of Safesil spraying in the bunker silo the top of forage for ensilaging at 2 l/mJ and spraying by applicator using on the cutter Claas Jaguar 840 in the last 20 cm layer of cut at a dose of 41/1.
