Abstract

40 Wallachian ewes were genotyped on loci for lipogenic enzymes: acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACACA), fatt acid synthase (FASN) and lipoprotein lipase (LPL). Examined ewes were milked in 4 recording days and fatty acid profiles in milk fat were determined. In the ACACA locus the most numerous haplotype AG/GG/CC/CC was connected with higher milk yield, lower fat and proteins contents and favorable dietetic characteristics of fatty acids profile in milk fat compared to animals of other haplotypes.
