Abstract

Cow’s milk is a valuable source of nutrients important for human nutrition. Milk quality depends on many factors as for example breed, age, health, lactation phase and external conditions (seasonally breeding technology, used barn and milking technology, etc.). Feed ration should cover the required nutrients and energy. All these factors affect milk production, especially the content of milk fat, lactose (milk sugar) and milk protein.
