Abstract

The aim of this study was to focus attention on simple screening assessment of the rearing environment with emphasis on ensuring the possibility of implementing the behavioural manifestations of cows, feeding, watering, lying, resting, rumination, social interactions, movement, microclimate, including ventilation, lighting and milking. A separate part is the evaluation of selected faecal indicators as an integral part of the herd health analysis, including the interpretation of the established facts. Use of information obtained under simple screening analysis of selected indicators rearing environment bing breeders valuable information about the interaction between technological systems and production indicators and their impact on the health of cattle on dairy farms.
