On Saturday, 20 April 2024, the Institute of Animal Science participated in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Toulcův Dvůr centre of environmental education and training for all generations. The IAS department of Ethology and department Nutritional Physiology and Production Quality presented themselves to the public there.
The Ethology department’s stand called Animal in the Urban Jungle prepared a presentation and activities related to welfare and guidelines on navigation in the jungle of products, while the department of Nutritional Physiology and Animal Product Quality had a stand entitled Pet Rabbit where they introduced the public to the proper nutrition of rabbits, the components of compound feeds and the natural behaviour of rabbits. At the third site run by the IAS, easter eggs were decorated using the wax embossing technique, performed by the master of traditional arts Lenka Volková, M.S.
