Creation of highly prolific strain of the Merinolandschaf sheep breed using the methods of molecular genetics
Project no. QH71280
Category PROJEKTY NAZV / National Agency for Agricultural Research PROJECTS
Main author Milerski Michal, Ing., Ph.D.
Provider | MZE ČR |
Description | Mapping of the occurrence of the FecB gene in the population of Merinolandschaf sheep breed in the Czech Republic will be done. Animals carrying FecB gene will be used for creation of highly prolific strain. Analysis of the impact of the prolificacy increasing in dam breeds on economic efectivity of sheep production will be done. |
