The goal of the project is implementation of the directive on increasing the use of energy from
renewable sources (RED III) into Czech legislation, updating of the National Energy and Climate
Plan from the production of advanced biofuels, biogas in the quality of biomethane and the
sustainable, energetic use of solid biomass point of view. Furthermore, the goal of the project is to
determine innovative, model procedures with soil, leading to a reduction of the carbon footprint
of selected cultivated crops and thus to accounting for savings in greenhouse gas emissions. In the
area of livestock production, the project will be focused on identifying key points for calculation of
the carbon footprint and the possibility of reducing it for the basic products of livestock
production.
