The scientific conference with international participation „Current issues of animal bioclimatology 2024“ was divided into three thematic areas. On the one hand, papers were presented focusing on the analysis of the impact of climate change, both cold and heat stress on livestock, and at the same time the impact of livestock farming on the climate. Furthermore, papers were presented on the prevention of mammary gland, limb, diarrheal, respiratory, and parasitic diseases, including adherence to the principles of prophylaxis and biosecurity to maintain good health and an appropriate level of livestock welfare. These contributions were followed by the issue of reducing the consumption of antimicrobial substances and subsequently limiting the risk of the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance.
