The seminar was focused on problems related to alternative and organic pig breeding, especially in the veterinary and zoohygienic field, nutrition (pasture of fattening pigs) and technology. The lectures were supplemented by information from the field of genetics (selection focused on boar odor) and breeding of the Přeštice black-pied pig. The visitors were also briefly informed about the topics solved in the Institute of Animal Science and in cooperation with Czech and foreign organizations.
