Abstract | Biosecurity as an integral part of herd health management is an important requirement for the production of healthy and biologically wholesome raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin. Biosecurity in beef cattle is directly dependent on the system of rearing, when animals are on pastures during the growing season and in winter in the stable. Respect for basic principles of biosecurity is relatively simple and effective during winter housing of beef cattle, while during grazing it is impossible to adhere strictly all biosecurity measures and their efficiency is generally low. |
