The article describes the situation in pig breeding in Poland. It focuses on the issue of pork production from the point of view of two farmers. The first one is organic farm. This farm, apart from its own pig breeding (including the original Zlotnické breed), also has a production facility for the production of meat products. The second farm has a breeding herd which produces breeding gilts and boars. In addition, the article describes a system of support for pig breeders in Poland.
