The work is focused on the analysis of poultry daily time budget and housing density in lying hens a broilers as a part of assessing the level of their welfare as an integral part of good breeding practice and important subject to maintaining good health of livestock and security options against the penetration of infectious agents into the farm – biological security (biosecurity). The high level of welfare has a direct and indirect impact on the quality of the produced raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin, including economic rentability of farms.
