Abstract

The aim of research study was to determinate effect of the genetic polymorphism at the ACACA and FASN locus on the milk traits including composition of fat acids and find out whether, there is any effect of these genes on somatic cells score. Acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase α (ACACA) is a major regulatory enzyme of fatty acid biosynthesis and fat acid synthase (FASN) is the central enzyme of the de novo fatty acid biosynthesis pathway.
