Abstract

Suitable physical structure of mixed ration is important for providing motor rumen of ruminants, ruminating and thus salivating fooder and to move it to the other parts of the digestive tract. The aim of the experiment was to assess the physical structure of mixed rations for ruminants using two methods, that is, using a native and a dry sample. The hypothesis was confirmed that the dry samples had a partial crumbling on the PSPS separator when shaking, the fraction at the bottom of the shaker was higher in dry samples than in the native ones. The correlations between native and dry samples were high. We recommend working with native samples.
