Abstract | Inadequate concentration of maternal antibodies in blood serum of newborn calves poses a risk of higher morbidity and subsequently their worse performance. The blood samples from a total of 1048 calves from 2 to 7 days of age from 38 herds of Holstein and Czech Fleckvieh cattle were collected from August 2015 to the end of the year 2016.
