The study is focused on the analysis of selected critical factors in the use of automatic milk feeders for calves, which significantly affect the level of their health and welfare. Critical factors that affect the health of calves include: stocking density, group size and age structure, system of operation, bedding frequency, quantity and quality of milk or milk replacer.
