Abstract

The aim is pig carcass classiification using the FOM II device based on a regression equation for predicting the lean meat content, designed specifically for this device and corresponding to the current level of the pig population in the Czech Republic. The methodology is an output of the project QK 22020132 New methods of pig carcass classification, the aim of which was to collect the data needed to create this regression equation and approve the FOM II device as a new method for pig carcass classification in slaughterhouses in the Czech Republic.
