The paper is focused on the analysis of key elements of biosecurity in livestock with regard to structural measures (location of the farm and distribution of facilities in the farm) and operational arrangements (capacity, number of species and age structure of animals, phasing of work operations, registration of persons entering the farm and maintaining cleanliness and order).
