Abstract | Checking the intensity of processing total mixed ration in the feeding wagon By mixing the mixed feed ration (TMR) properly, it achieves an even intake of nutrients and avoids the selection of more attractive feed rations by dairy cows. Another very important factor that is directly related to the issue of TMR is the particle length of TMR components. The aim should be to better manage the cows‘ feed into the feeding table and also to consume TMRs that are as close as possible to the calculated optimal feed ration through better management of the feeding technique. It has been confirmed that each TMR with a different component composition will have a different proportion of particles on the Penn State Particle Size (PSPS) separator screens, that the proportion of smaller particles increases with mixing time (but not the same for each TMR) and that at the beginning of TMR formation into the feeding table, the proportion of longer particles is greater than at its end. |
