Abstract | The aim of the experiment was to evaluate fermentation and aerobic stability of alfalfa silage, harvested on a dry matter of about 32% with a different length of chop using a silage preparation of bacterial, combined bacterial with chemical and chemical. Signifi cant (P < 0.05) differences between variants were only for ammoniacal nitrogen, indicating the degree of proteolysis. The highest ammonia nitrogen values were measured in the long-cut control silage without additive, the best result for silage with inoculant containing Lactobacillus plantarum MTD/1. Best aerobic stability was measured in silage, preserved with a preparation containing Lactobacillus plantarum MTD/1 in combination with potassium sorbate. |
