Abstract

Adequate hygienic level of breeding is a prerequisite for maintaining good health and achieving a high level of production and reproduction indicators in farms. Biosecurity is an integral part of preventive measures. Underestimation of individual biosecurity measures first brings a reduction in performance with a subsequent increase in the frequency of disease and thus increase the costs associated with treatment while increasing the risk of animal death, which of course reduces the economic profitability of the breeder.
