The seventeenth year of the international workshop Research in Pig Breeding took place on October 21, 2021. The workshop was organized by the Department of Pig Breeding in Kostelec nad Orlicí. Participants from the Czech Republic, but also from Germany and Hungary met in the pleasant ambience of the Pod rozhlednou hotel in Vrbice. The article describes the individual presentations that were presented at the workshop. All participants had the opportunity to choose from the presentations and posters the one that was, according to their evaluation, the best.
