Abstract

In the methodic, new methods of egg quality evaluation are described in eggs from cages and alternative housing. Microbial contamination of marked eggs is not very often evaluated and for this reason, results are new and have not been published. Results show that a trait which is commonly taken for egg microbial contamination, amber acid, is not accurate in comparison with microbial analysis. Results of the study and result of two previous methodics allow evaluating different housings for laying hens from a point of view of a producer and also from safety.
