Abstract

The aim of the experiment was to investigate the effect of external intervention (mechanical stimulation of rumen mucosa by RF brushes) on the work of the rumen in high-performance Holstein dairy cows and changes in feed composition ration (TMR) on the amount of milk and its quality, feed intake, time of consumption, and pH in rumen. Two mixed feed doses in 3 periods were tested with 22 cows of Holstein breed, 11 of them has 3 RF brushes in rumen, 4 of them has bolus for continues measurement of rumen acidity. The RF brushes application and the TMR change did not show any significant effect on the monitored indicators.
