Have you ever wondered what a horse can smell and how it perceives smells in its environment? If can it detect the same smells as us humans? Or if mares, stallions and geldings differ in theirs olfactory abilities? What about pregnancy, could it play a role? They say pregnant women change their olfactory abilities and preferences during pregnancy, is it the same with horses? These are the questions we tried to answer in our project.
