In the years 2020 to 2022, the Animal Science solved the TAČR Gama 2 research project entitled „Transfer of the results of research, development and innovation into practice in the field of livestock breeding and its further economic efficiency“. The aim of this project was to support partial research projects with commercial potential. Two such sub-projects related to poultry nutrition, specifically the creation of mixed feeds for laying hens and chickens with hemp and flaxseed. Themixed feeds won the Golden Spike 2022 award at the international agricultural exhibition Země živitelka and the Gold Medal at the ANIMAL TECH 2023 fair.
