Abstract

The aim of the project is to deepen information and knowledge about new ways of using current varieties of peas, fava beans, broad beans and narrow-leaved and yellow lupins in livestock nutrition, where they can be an economically effective alternative to imported expensive and genetically modified soybeans. The project addresses issues ranging from agronomic techniques of cultivation, harvesting, preservation, determination of nutritional value to specific inclusion in feed rations.
