The technology represents a system of 9 interactive web indexes for systematic selection of silage additives, which digitalizes the expert knowledge of VÚŽV into a practical tool for farmers and advisors. The system contains a database of 155 products from 25 manufacturers, covering 100% of the Czech market. It uses a two-stage filtering algorithm based on forage silageability and secondary criteria such as dry matter, silaging conditions and primary use objective. Users obtain immediate results with export options, which shortens the decision-making process from hours to minutes. The technology has demonstrated economic benefits with average cost savings of 18.3% and total economic impact of 12.5 million CZK annually. The technology is the result of support project MZE-RO0723 „Long-term conceptual development of research organization“ and includes all required documents including industrial verification protocol, technical documentation, expert assessment, user agreement and declaration of honor.
