Abstract

There was calculated a prediction formula for the reference weight (y) (EC) of the pig carcasses using the the weight of the carcass with the flare fat (x) as the main regressor. The formula is: y=1,65651 + 0,96139 * x. The formula fulfills the statistical parameters of accuracy.
