Abstract

Changing of farm animal husbandry practices of farms in the sense of enlargement and minimizing the attendance care there is also a change in the structure of the disease, begin to predominate disease polyfactorial origin resulting due to a co-infectious agents and environmental stressors (physical, chemical and biological) including a technological housing systems (including the effect of floors and bedding, feeding, watering, ventilation and clearing excrement), management (stocking density, “all in-all out” breeding system, disinfection, disinsection, deratization, medication, vaccination, animal hygiene precaution) and other issues of biosecurity. Equally important are questions about the security of sufficient quality uncontaminated feed and water for animals. Prevention of diseases of farm animals is one of the prerequisites for ensuring good health and performance of housing animals and achieving the economic profitability of breeding.
