Abstract | The aim of the research was to determine the correlations between the data obtained by multispectral imaging and by chemical analysis. The selected maize crop was scanned using a multispectral camera placed on a drone. Reflectance maps were created from the values measured by the camera, from which the vegetation indices were calculated. The degree of correlation was very strong in dry matter content for all monitored vegetation indices. The highest sensitivity of reflectance values was achieved in the red spectrum, on the contrary, the lowest resolution from the monitored vegetation indices was obtained in the green spectrum. The advantage of remote sensing is an overview of the entire field in comparison with the sampling for chemical analysis from a selected place in the field. |
