The result of the methodology is a new approach in the genetic evaluation of warmblood horses. Estimation of breeding values allows producers greater options when selecting individuals for breeding. The methodology outlines the steps for calculating breeding values, describes the parameter file, which is an essential part of every calculation. It also describes how the evaluation results are analyzed. Each individual has now determined the prediction of breeding values based on input data and related information of individuals.
