The article provides an update on the results of an online questionnaire aimed at identifying which traits are important for breeders when selecting beef cattle and what importance they attach to them. The current survey results show that the most important indicators include temperament (maternal behavior) and calf viability, growth, maternal fertility, longevity and body capacity, and claving performance.
