The methodology provides users with a proposal for preventive measures to increase the level of biosecurity against the spread of African swine fever in feral pigs, organic, small-scale and large-scale farms of domestic pigs, based on an analysis of potential risk factors for direct and indirect transmission of African swine fever virus between infected and susceptible animals, identification of biosecurity critical control points and verification of effectiveness in the operating conditions of pig farming.
