Abstract

The solution relates to a kit for the detection of genetic point polymorphism in the signal peptide region, the promoter and the regulatory region of exons 1, 2 and 3 in the interferon gamma gene (IFNG) in sheep. This is the design of primer sets that will enable the detection of single nucleotide substitutions in DNA by the minisequencing method (primer extension method, commercial version of SNaPshot) on an automatic capillary sequencer.
