Abstract

Dairy cows barns must be disposed, technically and operationally designed so that all indicators of breeding environment and technological systems do not adversely affect the health and welfare of the housing animals. The aim of this study was to focus attention on simple screening assessment of the rearing environment with emphasis on ensuring the possibility of implementing the behavioural manifestations of cows, feeding, watering, lying, resting, rumination, social interactions, movement, microclimate, including ventilation, lighting and milking.
