This chapter describes the characteristics of various types of sorghum and sorghum ensiling methods. The feed point of view it is necessary to distinguish between different quality silage, depending on the type of sorghum and harvesting method: protein silage harvested at early vegetative stage, silage obtained by direct harvesting sugar or cross hybrids of sorghum and Sudan grass, and silage obtained by direct harvesting of grain.
