Abstract

The article presented the possibilities of on-line health recording using The Diary of diseases that is connected with the database of performance and reproduction testing. It consists of on-line health recording form for farmers, the simplified key of diagnoses based on ICAR recommendation, and the database of registered medicaments. The heritabilities and breeding values for the occurrence of clinical mastitis and genetic correlations between clinical mastitis and longevity (from -55 to -61%), reproduction (from 7 to 18%, intervals, from 24 to 30% days open) and somatic cell scores (from 68 % to 83%) were presented. Estimated breeding values for clinical mastitis were used to describe a genetic trend in bulls.
