The paper deals with the most important facts on the 4th Dairy Forum held in Berlin on 14 and 15 March 2013. Forum, which was attended about 440 listeners (of which around 10% from abroad), was focused on Germany and European and global production and use of milk. The course was optimistic for German producer and milk processor. In line with the growing demand for milk and dairy products are expected to favorable purchase price, maintenance of effective EU safety net, ability to support production and processing and the support of Federal Government and the parliamentary political parties. The performance showed that after the abolition of quotas in 2015 is not expected growth in milk production and that ready states and breeders will have opportunity to participate on growing demand.
