Abstract

This methodology deals with the selection of breed and the sustainable breeding environment, including the technological systems, the principles of good nutrition and feeding of goats according to each age categories, the production of goat milk and its processing, the management of the herd and principles of biological safety of goats breeding (biosecurity). Keeping of the good husbandry practices in stable rearing of dairy goats is one of the prerequisites for maintaining good health of the herd and for achieving the genetically determined productive and reproductive performance of goats with the aim of production of biologically full-value, healthy and safe raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin.
