Abstract

In the years 1989-2012 in the Czech Republic increased annual milk yield per cow of approximately 3,982 to 7,433 liters, it is about 3 451 liters and 87 %, but did not change significantly less favorable economic indicators of milk production. Ten percent level of profitability would be when detected costs CZK 62 500 per cow and year and CZK 8.50 per liter of milk (milk yield about 7,350 liters) ensure the price of raw milk around CZK 9.60 per liter of milk. This price was milk producers, on average, paid in January 2014 (CZK 9.66), significantly lower milk price was between 2012 and 2013 (7.68 and 8.51 CZK). Since joining the EU in 2004 offset growth yield of cows decline their states and stabilize the volume of milk produced. The development of prices (raw) milk and dairy products can be deduced that the highest profit from the production and sale of dairy products achieves store, the lowest cattle breeders.
