Abstract

The technology of harvesting and preserving corn using precision farming methods is a great challenge for farmers. They can effectively estimate the appropriate time to harvest corn. From the measured nutritional values of corn directly in the field, they can not only plan the use of feed in cattle nutrition, but also operatively influence the application of silage products. With finished silages, they can find out not only the nutritional value, but also the potential milk production per hectare or dry matter unit using new software. Multi and hyperspectral scanning of land and vegetation can determine their condition and accordingly apply fertilizers or plant protection products, predict problems, and especially early intervention and correct, especially if the problem is in its infancy.
